Links: Biography: Lynne Jackson has taught forty-three years and currently teaches wind method and graduate music education classes at Southern Methodist University. Jackson also serves as a wind pedagogy specialist for the Berkner area in the Richardson Independent School District, Richardson, Texas. Jackson grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan, where she studied with Clifford Lillya and Elizabeth Green and performed for four years under the baton of William D. Revelli. She received her master’s degree in music education from Vandercook College of Music. In July 2010, Jackson was awarded the “Meritorious Achievement Award” by the Texas Bandmasters Association. |
