Price: $80 Each summer conductor Reuben Blundell, euphonium virtouso Demondrae Thurman, and I spend most of July together, watching our children play and solving the world's problems. In early May of 2018, Reuben asked me to write a piece for Demondrae to perform with the Riverside Orchestra. Writing music for two good friends was far more difficult than I initially expected, but we are tied together by our children and the shared bond of fatherhood.
